Mandate
Founded in 1919, the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) is a national organization of women university
graduateas. There are approximately 10,000 CFUW members in 123 clubs across Canada. CFUW is a non-goverment, non-partizan
organization. Each year we present a brief to the govenment of Canada informing appropriate ministers about our policies
on education, the status of women and girls, human rights, peace, the envirnoment and justice.
